Client Advocacy
Because every SAC client has been the victim of a crime and many are involved in legal matters, we have a Victim Advocate on staff. Advocacy services are available to any client who needs assistance or information regarding legal issues or referrals to community resources.
All clients are offered the opportunity to meet with the Victim Advocate to receive information and assistance in filing for Criminal Injuries Compensation, to receive assistance with legal matters, or to gain help and support when they feel that their rights are not being upheld as crime victims.
Our Victim Advocate also connects clients to other beneficial community resources as needed.
