Elder Abuse Prevention Resources

Sexual Assault Center has partnered with The YWCA of Nashville and Middle Tennessee, Fifty Forward, theDistrict Attorney General, Metropolitan Nashville Police Department, and Adult Protective Services to provide training to law enforcement personnel,  members of the judiciary, prosecutors, and court staff on how to recognize the signs and symptoms of elder abuse.  Elder abuse is an older adult experiencing physical abuse, neglect, sexual abuse or stalking, financial exploitation, or emotional abuse.  This comprehensive training enables law enforcement to develop skills to assess, investigate and prosecute cases of elder abuse in Nashville.
