Full Values Statement

Our values apply to and are intended to honor the humanity of each and every person. Our values are our guide, a character reference, ongoing goals, and a way to hold us accountable to practice equity within our agency and with all those we serve. Underlying all of our work is the safety and wellbeing of our staff, clients and communities we serve. We approach our work with humility and recognize the need for continual education and growth in order for all to heal and thrive.

ANTI-RACISM: We commit to identify, challenge and change the values, structures and behaviors that perpetuate systemic racism within our mission-driven work. We commit to improve organizational structures, policies, practices and attitudes that contribute to racism.

INCLUSIVITY: We commit to maintain a safe space that is representative of and welcomes people of all age, gender identity, race, sexual identity, class, physical or mental ability, ethnicity, religious or spiritual belief, perspective and all facets of diversity. When we address the connections between violence and sexism, racism, classism, ableism, ageism, adultism, heterosexism, xenophobia, and other forms of oppression, we acknowledge oppression as part of the same system of values that fuels sexual violence.
