Safe City 2024

We extend a warm invitation for you to join us in discovering more about the essential services provided by SAC and to celebrate the progress we've made towards making Nashville a safe place for all people through preventative initiatives.

Through the resilient stories of survivors, expressions of healing through art, and meaningful dialogue, we hope to create an environment where guests learn more about the reality survivors face and leave empowered to take action. Our goal is to raise $100,000— which could cover a year of therapy for one client and facilitate 45 medical forensic exams (rape kits). Your support ensures that the Sexual Assault Center can continue its impactful work of providing healing and hope to those in need!

We are thrilled to announce that this program will feature a conversation between Tracy Kornet and Lisa Campbell. Tracy Kornet is a seven-time Emmy Award-winning anchor, host, and writer who brings the news to Nashville from WSMV4. Over her nearly 30-year career in television, she has been awarded Best News Anchor multiple times by the Tennessee Associated Press. Tracy is also a former co-chair and member of the Sexual Assault Center board. Joining Tracy is Lisa Campbell, one of the most vocal advocates for sexual assault survivors in our city. For more than two decades, Lisa Campbell has been an invaluable asset to SAC, serving as advisory board chairman, actively participating in two capital campaigns, and playing a significant role in the success of the Mad Hatter fundraiser. As powerful voices of SAC’s mission, Tracy and Lisa will share wisdom around their experience. We are truly honored to have both incredible women with us at Safe City 2024.
